Day 16: Intensive Fat-Burning Home Workout Journey

You’re now halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! Day 16 doesn’t require any equipment, so let’s dive right in.

Today’s moves include sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks with a twist to make you sweat. Focus on controlling each movement to get a real burn in your core and build strength and stamina. According to Svava, if it’s easy, your core isn’t working hard enough, so it needs to be challenging to achieve that toned body you’re aiming for.

When you start feeling tired, remember to open your chest and breathe deeply instead of bending forward to catch your breath, as this can restrict breathing. Keep it moving—you’ve got this!

Here’s today’s workout plan: 10 minutes, five moves, two sets. Do each of the five exercises for 40 seconds, followed by a 20-second rest. Then, repeat the set.
