30-Day Home Fitness Challenge: Ignite Your Metabolism – Day 16

You’re now halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! On Day 16, you won’t need any equipment. Let’s dive in.

Today’s movements include sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks, with a twist to get you sweating. Make sure to control each move for a real burn in your core, which helps build strength and stamina. It’s supposed to be challenging, otherwise, your core won’t get that toned look.

When you start feeling tired, remember to open your chest and breathe, instead of hunching forward which restricts your breathing. Keep pushing through; you’ve got this!

The routine is 10 minutes long and consists of five moves done in two sets. Perform each move for 40 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds. Repeat the entire sequence one more time.
